Rest in peace, Brian Alger

Words can't describe how I feel knowing that the world has lost one of the kindest, most loving, and generous people I've ever known. He would go to any length to show you he cared. and you knew that he meant it. He was always full of life and made sure to live it to its fullest. He was unselfish. pure. caring. kind.

Brian was truly representative of all that is good in this world. If there is one person I've known who would be there for ANYONE at the drop of a hat... Brian is that person. I truly believe that it would not be possible to meet Brian and be unaffected by him. His happiness and zest for life truly radiated to all of those around him and the size of his heart was never in question.

Eternal peace and rest to you, sweet B. I'm at a loss... the world has lost one of the most amazing men and for that, my heart breaks.

----------------------------------------------

Like the wings stolen from an angel
Like petals gone from a rose
Like a dove caught in a storm

Tonight he is in the Lord's arms

The wind it blew straight through us
And whispered to me in tongues
I was told
I was warned

Tonight he would be in the Lord's arms

Tonight he is in the lord's arms

Now I drink this wine to him
With each glass a memory
He left me with his crown of thorns

Tonight he is in the Lord's arms

In the words of Ben Harper:

I was always amazed with Brian's tireless passion for life.
His inexhaustible enthusiasm for all around him.
He always arrived bearing gifts expecting nothing in return.
With a huge smile, and eyes full of the truth.
With a rare kindness that stays with you.
He was a freedom fighter.
He will be deeply missed.
My love to the Alger family.
-Ben Harper

....truer words have never been spoken. It just goes to show you what type of man Brian was.
