Today, while working... I find my mind wandering to my friend Brian. It's been almost five months since the world lost one of the most amazing men it has or will ever see. I did a lot of thinking last night and heard Brian's genuine words of encouragement that I'll never hear elsewhere.
When his wife was asked if there was anything we could do for the family, she simply said "continue to live well."
In the back of my mind, I hear him. Shine brightly. Look ahead. Don't settle.
Continue to live well. That's what Brian did... and there's something to be said for truly living.
