I realize I never posted after a much anticipated Monday night of programming.
I was highly disappointed by the second episode of Chuck. I felt like the "Sarah is a bad guy, Sarah is a good guy" story line was a bit much. I want to see Rachel Bilson! That's the number one excitement factor causing me to stick it out with Chuck. I completely adored the pilot, so I'm really hoping they'll head back in that direction because I don't want to be driven to not watch the cute nerdiness of Zachary Levi every Monday night.
I know there were a lot of loose ends to tie up on Heroes after last season but I feel as though this one is moving quite slowly. No sight of Nicky/Jessica and Micah until episode 3? Two VERY brief Nathan Petrelli scenes? I'm not sure how I feel about that... and I certainly wouldn't mind a decent amount of focus on the other Petrelli brother as well. Every second that ticks by that I don't see Sylar makes me nervous because I know they're going to wait until I've relaxed a little and he's going to pop up and I'm going to have a heart attack and scream at people in the hallways again. Please, I beg of you, don't do that to me. Also, Claire's new little buddy creeps me out a lot. He also looks to me like he could be Sylar's brother. And last of all... I REALLY hope there are a few episodes that show what happened in the four months since explosion a la Petrelli. Actually NOW last of all... I miss Isaac Mendez. Can't they reattach the top of his brain and bring him back? Please?
The Hills has lost its luster. Though hearing Lauren say "I just saw Lo's Britney" was semi-amusing. The whole Elodie/Heidi & Spencer's anniversary situation was amusing but beyond obviously scripted, at least from my vantage point. I'm somewhat excited to see the drama unfold next week with Jen Bunney et al, but hopefully it won't feel as fake as this week. And lastly... I think Justin Bobby is misunderstood. I have a feeling Lauren (and Lo especially) can be quite annoying at times--as are most 21 year old girls--so I don't blame him for being less than excited to spend time with them.
The Bachelor is kind of the same ol' same ol' this year. Though Brad does seem more genuine than Andy, that's the only difference I see. My picks for the final two are DeAnna and possibly Bettina... with Jenni going home in the final three.
