Here are some ideas:
1) Make the court larger (how about 200 ft by 85 ft?)
2) Make the floor slick by placing a layer of ice on it, but allow the players to get traction by placing a steel edge on the bottom of each foot
3) Take the net down to ground level and make it much larger, but add a sixth player to the court for guarding said net
4) Player subsitution should be changed from checking in at the whistle, to exchanges during play.
5) Add walls around the iced court, higher in the corners.
6) Replace inflated round ball with vulcanized rubber cylinder.
7) Give players sticks with a curved end to handle the rubber cylinder.
8) Add an extra 20 minutes to the game, so instead of two 20 minute halfs, there are three 20 minute periods.
9) Allow body contact.

Hahahaha, that's awesome.
Though, I love basketball. Not NBA. NBA is no longer basketball. 'Cause everyone is 8 feet tall and the referees don't know what traveling is any more. NCAA, I will be faithful!
Hockey fan much?
