I take back what I said about Desperate Housewives.
Marc Cherry, you have redeemed yourself.
If for no other reason than seeing Bree squirm over the new neighbor's competitive perfectionism, I thoroughly enjoyed week two of the new season. I could do without Susan and Mike (or mainly just Susan) on the show entirely... but I love the Bree storyline as it is right now!
And as I said last week about Ana Ortiz... Eva Longoria should get Emmy consideration for her role in this past week's episode. Normally she plays eye candy and little else but after this episode and the episodes a couple of seasons ago with the adoption storyline, I think she deserves a little more credit than she gets.
Then again, so does Marcia Cross. How can you not love Bree Hodge?
This new neighbor storyline still weirds me out a lot. What is the deal with the daughter?
Also... rumor has it that a gay couple is moving to Wisteria Lane this season. I'm more excited about that than anything!
