By "out east," I mean St. Paul.
After a year of Uptown pretentiousness... I'm loading up my car and making the long journey (ha) on I-94E to the other Twin City.
What I will miss most about Uptown:
being walking distance from Chino and Williams
What I will not miss at all:
Upstairs neighbors having loud sex at all hours
Allina ambulances at all hours of the night
The noise from the bus stop
The price of living in Uptown
Streets that are barely wide enough for one car to fit, let alone two
Lack of parking
The maple smell that pervades from my building
