It's sad, really.
Christian Troy has completely lost his mojo.
Never in my Nip/Tuck watching days did I expect to see the man pay two Marilyn Monroe wannabes to sleep with him while declaring "make me feel like a star."
I spent the whole episode hoping he'd somehow redeem himself for the photo shoot he engaged in. But what happened? He went after Sean's new love. I'm convinced his issues aren't "mommy issues" as his publicist asserted. He has Sean McNamara issues... as in, he wants to be him. That's one of the few conclusions I came to while watching.
This week's episode was better than the premiere... aside from basically every scene Dr. Troy was in.
I feel like it'll take Sean leaving the TV show to get it back on track entirely. Also... where was Wilbur during Christian's little tryst? I thought he was supposed to have been completely reformed by fatherhood? Disappointing, CT, disappointing.
The reemergence of Julia was somehow refreshing. When she's not with Sean or pining after Christian, she's much less whiny... which makes her much more enjoyable.
So, I'm not entirely giving up on the show yet... we'll see how the next few weeks go.
